3rd of July

Today was another busy day around here. We were so excited to take the kids to the parade. Last year they weren't too interested. We went to the parade with the Edwards' family. Not only did they get a place big enough for all our wagons, but they found a perfect spot in the shade! And with a parade that lasted over 2 hours, that was definitely important!

Overall, the kids did great! You wouldn't even know that Abby was there because she sat quietly in the wagon, eating her lollipop, watching the parade. Jack stood by me and wanted to be held, but was also content with sitting in the wagon. Josh did well and sat with Daddy most of the time.

We got a nice stash of candy. For the kids, of course ;)

Afterwards, we headed over to the fest and had some lunch. We also ran into Beth and Jon. The kids were so exhausted and it was getting hotter, we finally had to leave. Of course, they all fell asleep in the car within minutes.
