1 Year Birthday Party!

Birthday parties are always a tricky thing.  Do you invite just family, just friends?  Extended family??  We had such a huge triplet first birthday party, that we decided to just go a bit low key and do immediate family and friends.

We were hoping for super warm weather, but it was a bit chilly.  Didn't stop the kids from having fun!

The party started at 3pm, and Brooke didn't take an afternoon nap that day, of course!  She was still in a great mood!  

Can you believe that my baby didn't even touch her cake?!  I tried to give her some little bites, but NO, she didn't do the whole smash thing!  I was hoping for some messy, cute pictures.  Oh well, just like Abby, who didn't want to get messy either.

We opened up gifts the next day.  She had some great helpers ;)  All in all, it was a great party and it was so nice to see friends that we do not see too often.
