Blessing of the Basket and Egg Hunt

For the past couple of years, we having been going to our church for the blessing of the food as well as an egg hunt.  The kids were super excited about collecting eggs.

This year, the day fell on Brooke's birthday!

Someone tell this girl that just because she is 2, doesn't mean she gets to sit in the front seat!

She looked super cute in her coat and skirt!

There were separate sections of eggs based on age.  Brooke's section was basically a blanket with eggs on it while the big kids had a bigger section that was spread out.

Brooke was not into it, until she realized that the eggs held money and candy!  Of course, the Easter Bunny made an appearance and Brooke was scared.  I don't blame her!

It was a beautiful day in the courtyard for the blessing of the baskets.  The kids were troopers, although I am sure the candy helped ;)
