Evening at the Zoo

Chris has been working more hours lately and we decided that when he came home, we would go to the zoo. We have never been to the zoo in the late afternoon, but let me tell you, it was fantastic!!! School was still in session and all field trips left. We had the whole zoo to ourselves!

Abby brought her camera and was exciting about seeing all the animals.

But she was most excited about this one. She is obsessed with peacocks lately. She plans on being one for Halloween.

We went to the dolphin show and saw many animals that are usually hiding in the daytime heat.

We also added to our plastic animal collection. I think the kids were most excited to ride the carousel.

 I sure will miss these trips when the triplets are in school full time. We had such a great family day!
