29 Months Old!

Though this is a tough age (the terrible two's), it is also so much fun! It's great watching the kids learn something new everyday. And they really do mimic everything! We definitely need to watch what we say around them!

When we have guests over, the kids love to bring every single item from the downstairs playroom upstairs. Yeah...lovely!

They are always coming up with new things to do and seem to just love hanging out on the main level of the house instead of the playroom which is filled with toys. Here's a new one:

Another favorite thing to do is play hide n' seek. Here's Abby and Josh closing their eyes before they start searching for me or Chris.

The kids have great ears for commercials. They can recite the Luna commercial and the United Auto Insurance. They constantly want to watch Barney so much so that they know what is coming next in each episode.

Here are the specifics:

Abs: This girl will not take off her bracelets! She has about 10 of the gummy bracelets and 4 or 5 plastic ones. Not fun when putting on coats or trying to dress her. Oh well! Another funny thing she loves is carrying around and "reading" my Soap Opera Digest. I got a free subscription and breeze through and pass it on to Chris's mom, but lately Abby doesn't want that to happen. Soon she'll be a Days of Our Lives fan!

Josh: Still our leader of the pack. Josh and Jack have been really getting along lately and are usually playing together. Josh has become quite the Barney fan. He still loves Playdoh and carries his pail around with him everywhere. Josh is testing his limits daily and most times Chris and I have to try as hard as we can to put on a serious face when we just want to laugh!

Here's the telltale sign as to which boy is which. Josh has the tail! Every time he gets a hair cut, it grows right back!

Jack: He really is so in tune with what is going on around him. Thank goodness he takes after his daddy when it comes to directions. He's showed us this many times when driving in the car and pointing out things. He shows no interest in either Barney or Elmo television shows. He enjoys "cooking" in the kitchen and is always bringing everyone something to eat.

  1. I TOTALLY agree! This is a tough, but fun age. I love the picture of Abby reading the soap opera digest, too funny!
