The Best Days of Summer

This has to be my favorite time of summer. The weather is tolerable, the kids are all back in school so every store is empty. Ahhhh.... Today we visited Grandpa Cleys and Great Grandma Cleys.

Grandpa heated up the pool for our visit. The kids were very eager to jump right in.

Surprisingly, Jack was our fish of the day. The last couple of times, he mostly just sat outside of the pool. This time, he only wanted to be in the water. He especially loved being on Daddy's shoulders and going "up in the sky!"

Josh was in for only a few minutes. He then complained of being cold. Jack and Abby would come out for a bit to warm up and then go in.

I'm so glad we decided to purchase the Puddle Jumpers. So many triplet moms had suggested them. They are especially great because the kids are really learning to float and kick.

Afterwards, the kids were treated to ice-cream sandwiches...their favorite!
We went for a ride in the golf cart.

Then they relaxed in Grandpa's and Julie's hammock.

We even got a picture on the 4-wheeler.

Another beautiful day in late August! We are definitely going to miss these kind of days come January!
