Potty Training -Day 2

Well, to say I am exhausted would be an understatement. My parents came over for dinner tonight and even they couldn't believe the number of times I was in the bathroom with the kids, namely Josh.

I am so proud of my big man though because first thing this morning, he asked for his underwear and to use the potty. The other 2 were playing and couldn't care less. All their Pull-Ups were wet, but that's okay since we're not tackling the night time thing yet.

Overall, Jack was the only one to keep his undies dry all day. Josh had 2 minor incidents, and Abs had a couple incidents.

But, wait till you read this, Abby was the first to go poo on the potty! 3 TIMES! She has been just terrified to even pee and is always complaining that her belly hurts. I saw her poo face and rushed her to the potty. She went poo and then came back to me 2 other times to go poo on the potty. That was my biggest fear with her because she always seems to hold the poo in till it absolutely hurts. Jack observed that her poop looked like jelly beans. Delish!

By the end of the night, Abby even wanted to go pee in the potty and did so without crying or worrying. Way to go!

I am confident that Jack is fully trained. Once again, he didn't pee with huge frequency, but when he went, he had a lot. This is terrific! He is showing me that he is capable of holding it normally.

Josh, on the other hand, is still going every five minutes and sometimes he has some drops to give, other times as soon as his butt hits the potty chair he says that he is done. I am getting my exercise in, that's for sure! My poor back. People assume that the kids could just pull their undies down themselves, not so!

To be noted, Josh is having terrible temper tantrums lately. The kid is really wearing me down. He is super stubborn and very persistent! He's also my most lovable, go figure!
