Building Snow Castles

To say that this winter has been kooky is an understatement. We get inches and inches of snow one day, and warm temps the next day.

This was one of those days where it was too nice to be inside. I still bundled up the kids and headed out.

They immediately grabbed their buckets and shovels and started building. Mind you, there were only 2 big piles of snow left!

They created snow castles up and down the driveway. You should have seen them work! If only they could clean up their toys with such tenacity!
The castles were not complete until they each had a stick.

We took a drive to run some errands, and by the time we got home, the sticks were all that was left of our snow castles!
