The other day we all went to Jewel. Josh was the only one that wanted to use a little cart. I couldn't help but laugh watching him go down all the aisles and look at the food. He arranged everything nicely in his shopping cart.
The down side to this "growing up too quickly" for Josh is that he really does think he's in charge. This leads to some arguments between us. Josh seems to think it is okay to tell the others what to do and when we say no to them, he says, "Yes"!
Joshy loves to pretend play and build houses with blocks. He also loves his trains. With 3 kids the same age, it's very interesting to watch whom they choose to play with. While in school, Josh and Abby are attached and Jack is very independent. While at home, Josh usually plays with Jack and sometimes Abby, if she allows it. When the three of them play together, it usually ends up in a fight.
Josh enjoys school, but doesn't really like practicing writing his name or learning his letters. We struggled writing Valentine's, but he did it!
His favorite toys are still his Winnie the Pooh and the kitchen. Though lately they have been climbing the kitchen more than "cooking" in it! He absolutely loves his baby sister, Brooke, and often helps entertain her. One of my favorite things about Josh is that he loves to cuddle. He is such a mamma's boy!
