A Walk to Remember

well... sorta. For those of you who live in Chicago, you know that the weathermen and women are ALWAYS wrong. It is a rare chance that they are on target, and a couple of days ago, they were. The weather gods had given us a 60 degree day, and we didn't want to spend it indoors. Chris was a bit apprehensive about taking the kiddies out. I, for one, was absolutely looking forward to it.

So, we put multiple layers on the kids. I fooled myself into thinking that I wouldn't be cold with just a longed sleeved shirt on. We somehow managed to get the kids strapped into the stroller and off we went. Only our journey wasn't so long. The winds were a blowin and we were definitely afraid of the kids getting too cold.

Since we had gotten this far (meaning the end of the driveway), we decided that we had to take pictures to mark this momentus occasion. Enjoy!

Notice how the hats are all too small. These kids are growin!

  1. Congrats on getting out and about with the kiddos. They look adorable in the triplet stroller all bundled up! I can't wait until Spring arrives! Have a great week from another triplet mommy. :)

  2. We were going to do the same here...but the rain and winds stopped it from happening. The one day it is 60 degrees, we can't enjoy it! Well at least you got out for a bit!
