Tooth Watch '09

Woo hoo! I am so super excited. Josh got his 1st tooth! The babies have all been super crabby and drooling all over the place. We change outfits/bibs so much throughout the day, it's amazing that we even have clothes left! Everything they touch has to go straight to their mouths.

I'm a little surprised because I thought Jack would be first. He stuffs those hands so far into his mouth that he starts choking. That's why I was shocked when Grandma Cleys felt something in Josh's mouth. Sure enough, there's a wide ridge of a tooth breaking through. I don't know what I expected. Maybe I thought there'd be a whole tooth there. Hey, I'm an only child with little baby experience. The gum area is red and definitely looks painful, but I bought Motrin for that.

It always seems after an awfully rough night, we have something positive in the morning.
