Long time no post! Thanksgiving was not only the trips' 15 month birthday, but also Chris's birthday. We visited Great Grandma Cleys and family and had a great time. Aunt Cathy had some toys there ready for the kids. Josh led the pack and explored every room.
No one could believe their crazy appetites. Everyone who walked past gave them some food. They ate mashed potatoes, stuffing, carrots, cauliflower, green beans, rolls, cake. Whoa! I was too busy giving them veggies to even have them try some turkey.
Abby was a bit shy at first but then warmed up to everyone. I was a bit worried about the stairs, but since the stairs have a gap between them, the kids didn't even notice. Phew! After a couple of hours the whining started and we knew we had to go. As soon as we drove down the driveway, they passed out. Once we got home, guess what they wanted? More food!!!
As far as them turning 15 months, wow, things have changed. They are so much fun! They understand what we're saying most of the time. They love to run around and chase each other and just laugh. Abby is starting to point at things like the window so Grandpa can lift her up. The teeth are popping up everywhere! Molars, molars, and more molars. This makes some days a bit difficult. Abby always gets it the worst and becomes VERY clingy. Everyone is over the 26 lb. mark. No one can believe their size. Honestly, they are bigger than most singletons. Not too shabby for 3.3, 3.4, and 3.9lb babies. Their favorite toys are still the play kitchen utensils, the tunnel/tent, the Learning Home, and the puzzle containers. You can find burp cloths scattered in the playroom because they can't be without them.
In other news, we got the kids some chairs from Pottery Barn and they seem to enjoy them. Of course, Josh is climbing on top of them and Jack likes to jump on his. Boys! We're starting to decorate for Christmas and have purchased a gate to put around the tree. Hopefully that works out.
Don't mind Bailey's butt in the picture :)
