Welcome, Crabbie!

Well, our crazy Chicago weather has turned out an 80 + degree day today. We started our day playing with our friends at Sarah's house. Then we headed to Toys r Us to buy a sandbox. The kids absolutely love the sandbox at the park and at other kids' houses.

Once we got home, it was just so darn hot that we had some Pop Ice. Then Daddy set up the sandbox.

At first, the kids were too scared to put their feet in. Everyone stayed on the outside.

It wasn't too long before they all jumped in.

I think I was delusional in thinking that the sand would actually stay inside the box.

Daddy helped make some sand castles.

Abby tried pouring the sand in her shirt and even got some in her mouth.

The kids shed their shirts and started playing on the slide. They really missed the backyard!

So glad it's finally warm outside!
