Easter Morning Egg Hunt

The night before, we told the kids that the Easter Bunny would leave them something in their room and then he would hide eggs for them to find.

I was up early, of course, and couldn't wait for them to wake up. They finally did and were so excited to see that the bunny visited us.

It was then time for the hunt. We hid 10 blue, 10 pink and 10 green eggs. We told them that they can only pick their own color eggs.
They had a blast running around finding them. I love that they also helped each other locate some eggs.
The Easter Bunny even left some in their shoes!

We used coins, squinkies, and yes, a little candy in each egg.

We will definitely be doing this again next year with even more eggs!
