Egg Hunt and Great Grandma Visit

Another first for us around here was taking the kids to an egg hunt. Our church set it up on Saturday morning. We didn't know what to expect and were happy to see that there were age groups. Of course, this giant tree was smack in the middle of our ground.

We tried to explain to the kids that you have to hurry and collect the eggs without showing us or looking at them. Well, they pretty much froze when it started. Chris and I had to go around snagging some eggs for them. Then the big kids came running over to our area! The nerve!

Thankfully there were no tears from our kids, although I did see many kids crying. The bunny provided extra candy. Like we needed it ;)

Earlier this week, we went to visit Grandpa and Julie and Great Grandma. She provided mass amounts of candy in these bags. You should of seen the pure joy on Josh's face! They even posed for a picture.

It's funny because this year, we can't even sneak candy from their bags because they are closely keeping track. There is no way they can even eat it all!
