Where Do You Go For Candy?

Well, we go to our hometown parade!  The kids were so super excited and talking about it for days beforehand telling us how much candy they would get.  

 This was Brooke's first parade.  My happy little girl!

We were lucky enough to secure our spot from last year in the shade.  This time we were prepared with bags and chairs.  Such pros!

 Chris told the kids that they had to wave to get candy.  It was hilarious watching them wave to every single person.  They even got excited when people would hand them fliers!  But hey, the waving worked!

This is what Brooke was doing while the kids were filling their bags:

 After 2 hours, the kids were exhausted and hot.  Thankfully, we got 3 of everything so that there weren't any fights.  Everyone said that they would share their candy with Brooke.  They're already looking forward to the next parade on Wednesday!
