Christmas Morning -2013

I remember being little and sitting with my cousins at my grandma's house just staring at all the presents under the tree.  That was just the best feeling in the world.  That is, until I became a mother.  Now, nothing beats watching their faces light up when they come down the stairs and see the Christmas tree, all lit up with presents underneath.

This was the tree before Santa visited.  Those are all homemade presents that the triplets made for everyone.  They took such care in drawing and wrapping each and every present.
And this is what it looked like after Santa arrived.  There wasn't room for even one more present!
This year, Brooke woke up first (big shock) and we waited till the big kids woke up.  Here they are coming down the stairs to see the tree.
First stop was the stockings.  We don't hang them up on the fireplace for fear Brooke would pull on them.
It's amazing how happy they are with a packet of stickers with their favorite character on them.
or a box of Band-aids!
We made them pose in front of the tree before all the crazy unwrapping began.

Brooke unwrapped her Kindle and didn't care to open anything else.
The kids were so happy with everything they received.  Of course, all the toys had to be opened right then and there!  I didn't get a pic of the aftermath this year.  As you can imagine, there was lots and lots of wrapping paper and boxes!
