Making Gingerbread Houses

Every year, the kids look forward to making gingerbread houses.  And every year it is so neat to see how different they look.  For example, this year, Jack created the coolest patterns on his house.  He spent so much time and was so proud of his creation.  

And just like years past, it was difficult getting them to put the candy on their houses rather than their bellies!

 Lots and lots of creativity.  Josh put a candy cane on the roof as a chimney.

Jack went all out and really filled in every section of his house.

Abby loved making hers pretty!

Chris created a small house for Brooke.  And we are happy to say that about 2 pieces of candy made it on her house.

I think she had a great time ;)
