Chris had to leave around 11am and we put the kids down for a nap. Thankfully, this turned into a long nap since they missed their morning one. After they were up, I got them dressed up and in their coats and went to my parents' house. All my family was there, including Chris's mom, and many haven't seen the kids since Easter.
We stayed upstairs for a little while, but there was no gate and we had to constantly block the stairs. We then went downstairs and the kids opened their presents. All it took was the blocks and Legos, and the kids were entertained. They also received a mini basketball hoop from Aunt Caroline, which my cousin Marcel helped with. It was so cute to see the kids playing with the big boys.

I then changed them into pj's and gave them their bottles. They were exhausted. We ended up coming home around 7:30pm. They fell right to sleep in their cribs.
All in all, this was a great Christmas holiday. Oh, Chris and I got some great presents as well. His mom bought us the beverage fridge to fit under our countertop, my parents got me an awesome Nikon D3000 camera, and we received several savings bonds and gift certificates. But the best gifts of all, are the beautiful, healthy children that we have. It is truly a joy to watch them grow and learn new things everyday. My heart is overfilled with love!

What a nice picture of the 4 of you! Sounds like you had a good day. It is so much fun to watch them learn and change a little more everyday, isn't it?
