We went to Lleyton's 1st birthday party yesterday with Aunt Beth. The theme was Cookie Monster, right up Josh's alley! Tanya outdid herself with the decorations! The invite was the cutest thing ever!
They hired a clown to entertain the kids. I couldn't believe how much the children loved him. Mine didn't pay much attention to him, until they saw that he made balloon animals!
We sat off to the side while the kids played games like musical chairs. Have I written about how much my kids love to observe others? They were happily entertained.
The clown was nice enough to make each of the kids their own balloon animal. Josh requested an Easter Bunny and Cookie Monster. He got a blue bear.
Abby requested Barney. She got a heart flower. Jacky requested anything green. He got a green dinosaur.
The kids definitely enjoyed the cupcakes. Josh dove in to the blue frosted Cookie Monster one, while the others went with the vanilla frosting.
As a goodie bag treat, the kids each received a tin full of cookies. Thanks, Tanya! They had those for breakfast the next morning!
