Update On Our Sleep Situation

At the beginning of September, we decided that Abby was ready for the transition from crib to toddler bed. We told Abby that since she goes to sleep all by herself, she gets a big girl bed. Chris took down the main rail and installed the mini side rail. Abs was super excited for this.

We were hoping this would have some effect on the boys since they still have to have someone in their room at night until they get to sleep. Nope, they just enjoyed laying and jumping in Abby's bed.

It takes the boys anywhere from 15 minutes to sometimes an hour to go to sleep. It's actually cute because Josh loves to talk about his day. He is just so inquisitive and is quite the storyteller. The not so fun part is how many times they say they need to go potty before bed. We definitely need to put an end to that charade. We try to convince the boys that they can have big boy beds if they go to sleep by themselves. They just start crying and pouting. Ugh!

In the middle of the night, it's always Jack who needs to go to the potty. Then either Chris or myself have to sit in his room until he goes to sleep again. Abs sometimes wakes up and goes to the bathroom with my help and then goes back to sleep no problem. It's nice because all 3 keep their Pull-ups dry every single night.
