Palatine 5th of July Parade

Another day, another parade!  Our friends secured our favorite parade spot and we were ready to go!  First, the kids played a game of Hot Potato.

The weather yesterday was beautiful and today as well, not like years past where we were baking!

Brooke didn't seem to understand the concept of a parade in which you collect candy.  She would get one piece and open and eat it right away.  I guess the only good thing about this is that she never finishes the candy.

The kids collected way too much candy and we were all super tired.  But not too tired to take more pics at home ;)

And to think, there will be another parade in less than 2 months!!!
