Our Texan House Guests - Day 2

The boys woke up a bit early on Thursday and therefore woke up our guests. Eek! We hung out at the house and ate breakfast. Then we decided to go to Schaumburg and visit the nature preserve and farm. It was a beautiful day!

What was even more beautiful was that all 3 wanted to ride in the wagon ;)
Miss Kendall enjoyed her freedom!

All the animals were in the barn because of the heat. One of the volunteers showed us around and told us about this cow named Bismark. He loved the attention from visitors. The boys were brave enough to pet him.

We were told that Bismark even has his own Facebook page!
Then we visited the chickens. Some are behind this gate and others are free roaming.

Kendall wanted to ride in the wagon, so Abs took her seat in the stroller.
After leaving the farm, we stopped to pick up some lunch at another of Joe's favorites, Portillo's. Yummy! The boys then left to do a little gambling while Misty and I hung out in the backyard with the kids.

After baths, my kids decided to show Kendall how to do Ring Around the Rosie. She liked playing with the big kids!
