Raspberry Picking

For a couple of years now, we have been going to a small farm to pick raspberries.  We tend to stay away from the larger, crowd attracting farms, and stay with the mom and pop places.  Farmer Mike is awesome!  He remembers us every year and loves to chat with us.  The first thing he said when we stepped out of the car was, "You guys are dressed so fancy.  Did you just come back from a photo shoot".  Oh Farmer Mike, don't you know we dress up for every occasion!

Love this car!  This year was sunny and windy, hence the squinting eyes and blowing hair.

I love that he doesn't use pesticides.  There are bees, spiders, etc. and it is okay!

The kids had their share of raspberries off the bushes.  They were delicious!!!

Another highlight of this trip, feeding the sheep!

He also has this incredible barn.  Love the color!

He thought we were kidding when we asked him to take pics!  Hey, his "beat up, old barn" makes for a great background!!!

Of course, after we left we had our traditional lunch at Noodles N' Company.  Perfect day for picking!
