The time had finally come for our annual Blue Harbor Resort vacation! This time, we were going with our family friends, the Edwards'. Now, I don't think the kids could have been any happier. They absolutely LOVE Maddie and Allie. And now they were going to visit their favorite place with their favorite friends.
The drive was great and we stopped at the outlet mall and lunch before arriving. The resort was a bit crowded, so we got first floor rooms. We did get rooms next to each other, which was convenient. As soon as we unpacked the cars, we headed to the water park. Josh was super excited and was holding my hands jumping up and down. Well, guess what happened? He hit his loose front tooth on my hand and it twisted up and started bleeding. He was freaking out a bit and he didn't even go on a slide yet! I reached in and untwisted the tooth and wiped the blood. The other kids had gone on some slides, but Josh was stuck to my side. He was a bit apprehensive to do anything because that tooth was barely holding on. A couple minutes later, he was wiggling it with his tooth, and he popped it out!!! I was so excited!
I tried taking pics of the kids in the water, but my new memory card kept saying "memory full". So, no pictures the first day.
After spending some time at the water park, we headed back to our rooms to change for dinner. We decided to go to Chili's as it was getting late and we knew where it was. Chris stopped into a store to pick me up a new memory card because there was no way I was going to miss out on taking pics!!!
Everyone was super tired when we came back. The big kids fell asleep within minutes, Brooke on the other hand, was having none of it. She slept on the pull out couch with Chris. After some time, even Brooke couldn't stay up!
The next morning, the Tooth Fairy had arrived, and so did Chris with coffee and donuts.
We didn't even get to tour the place yesterday, so we headed to the beach this morning! I had to take some pics, but the sun was really, really bright! The morning was a bit cool, but definitely warmed up by the time we went back to the room.

This is a tribute pic for Chris Tabb. The guys wanted to superimpose his image as if he was on vacation too! His family had just returned from a trip the day before we left.
Allie let Brooke borrow her shades.
These silly kids found a giant log and kept pushing it in the water. The water was on the chilly side, but that didn't stop them!
Time to change into our bathing suits and head back to the beach!
We packed coolers full of drinks and snacks, brought our beach toys and chairs, and were ready! The kids immediately started building a sand village.
There were so many sailboats out on the water, and the resort let people rent paddle boards to ride.
We spent a couple of hours playing and relaxing before the kids were ready to go to the water park. The adults could have stayed out there all day!
