Every year I say it…how in the world can my tiny little preemie babies be getting so big!!! I cannot believe that they are six years old!
The night before their birthday always feels like the night before Christmas. So many things to prepare. We always do things last minute, too!
The kids got up extra early for their big day. To say they were excited was an understatement.
Abby received the poodle purse she has wanted for a long time. She also got a My Little Pony cup, stickers, beads, a Scooby Doo DVD, and much more. Both Josh and Jack received remote controlled helicopters. They love these kinds of things! He also got the game, Boom Boom Balloon, a toy fish that swims underwater, and much more.
Jack received a large Lego tray to build and store his Legos, a DVD, helicopter, and more.
The balloons were a big hit with the kids. Chris made sure to get Brooke a Mickey balloon as well. Since we didn't have a birthday party this year, we told the kids that we would take them to lunch at The Rainforest Cafe, and The Disney Store to pick out a toy.
As soon as they got off the bus, they came in to drop off backpacks, and we left for the mall. We all enjoyed a nice meal, and an even larger dessert.
Then it was time for The Disney Store! Josh picked out two Eeyore stuffed animals. Abby picked out a flying Tinkerbell. Jack picked out a Toy Story piggy bank and Peas in a Pod stuffed toy. They were so proud of their choices!
Soon it was time for the grandparents to come over!
